Christmas at the Windsor 2017

Our final function for 2017 was our traditional Christmas lunch at the Windsor Hotel which again was a resounding success.

More than 120 members and guests were in attendance, James Ecclestone (tenor), one of our sponsored artists, sang, an update on current and future opera events in Melbourne along with recognition of our support was received from Opera Australia and excellent prizes were on offer – so, what more could you want?

James not only sang several pieces beautifully but as he sang he moved amongst the gathered admirers directing his attention to various ladies seated around the room. This was met with great acclaim encouraging several encores.

Both he and our repetiteur regaled those present with a memorable experience.

Spring Lunch 21/09/17 at Milano’s Tavern Brighton Beach.

This year our Spring Lunch was held at a new venue. The bayside setting, wonderful views, delicious food, attentive service, excellent singing and accompaniment all made for yet another very successful event.

All members felt that we should return to Milano’s again next Spring.”
